This sunscreen is effective yet toxic-free at 20% zinc oxide! Free of chemical fragrances, Free of parabens, Free of nanoparticles!

Coconut oil: Coconut oil has been used for hundreds of years to moisturize the skin. If you have skin sensitivities, it is likely to be mild and gentle on your skin.

Jojoba oil: Jojoba oil is a non-fragrant natural emollient that serves up superior moisturizing and skin conditioning properties.

Shea butter: Shea butter is a natural plant lipid used as both a thickener and an emulsifier. What's more, it also has effective moisturizing properties.

As with all safe sunscreen lotions, I recommend you re-apply frequently, especially after swimming, perspiring, or towel-drying.

Our sunscreen does not contain chemicals to keep the base intact, so it can change with temperature changes.  This will NOT affect the product or its efficacy.  If the product is a bit too hard, try to warm the tube between your hands.  If it is clumpy, dispense the product and then rub it vigorously to melt the clumps.

A note about sunscreen:  Everyone is different and putting on sunscreen does not equal not getting burned. If it has a 30 SPF, that means that it is 30 times the amount of protection of an "average" person's natural protection. With that being said, you have every skin color in that "average". In addition, one's skin color does not always reflect its ability to deal with the sun. The inability to burn is actually quite complicated and even has to do with genetics, the food you eat and what you put on your skin prior to going into the sun. It also depends on the season, where you are in relation to the ocean, the mountains and proximity to the equator. It could be that your family needs to re-apply more often or needs to cover up a bit more. I would also leave it on thicker than rubbing it completely in if you are prone to burning! Lastly, refrain from wearing sunglasses.  Sunglasses block the body's ability to properly absorb vitamin D and initiate our innate "sun blocking" capabilities.

Age: Typically any age suggestions apply because conventional sunscreens contain harmful chemicals that you do not want to subject a newborn to. In addition, a newborn’s skin is so very fragile that even with sunscreen, they can burn very easily.  Generally, cover ups are preferred to sunscreen, but safety-wise, our sunscreen is totally safe to use on a newborn.

It’s some good stuff!

I really enjoyed this sunscreen.  Mine went on a little clumpy at first but then I realized it was just the coconut oil that was cold and once I rubbed for a few moments it was all melted and smooth on my skin.  It protected my skin well from the sun and felt like I was putting something nourishing on it.  I don’t use sunscreen a lot but when I do it will be this stuff!

PERFECT SUNSCREEN

I use this for my 2yo that loves to play outside all the time. We have minimal shade coverage so a sunscreen is a must. Works great and doesn't leave her skin feeling greasy or smelly!

Such a blessing!

TRUTH IS THE ONLY WAY!  So I check out Consumer Reports for ratings and recommendations on Suncare.  I like Consumer Reports as they do the testing.  However, they are a bit conservative and limited in product selections to review.  So I open up another website known as ewg.org (Environmental working group).  I am supportive of EWG for many years.  Low and behold I discovered Poofy Organics.  After thoroughly and carefully navigating ingredients, purpose of Poofy, I went bananas shopping for sun care!  For sure I will go bananas for lots of their other products after I use what I have left of current products. Yes!  I am a connoisseur of organic clean products externally and internally.  In conclusion, I hope other males will shop Poofy as well.  Carrots and Kudos to Poofy Organics.  I am thrilled to shop Poofy!!  ALL LOVE

Gentle and works amazing

Used this sunscreen for my 3yo and 10month old’s faces and my own fair skin while in Jamaica. It worked AMAZING and was so gentle. My nephew tried it on his already burned face and said “it feels like aloe.” It goes on white, but rubs in clear. The scent is pleasant and mild. Even though it’s only SPF 30 it totally does the job. We reapplied every 2-3 hours since we were swimming and no sunburns the whole week.  Very happy with this product.

Summer must-have!

I really love this sunscreen!  It comes out thick and creamy, goes on white but rubs in great, and it absorbs fast so I don't feel greasy all day.   One of my favorite Poofy summer products.  One tube lasts my family of 4 all summer.

Sunscreen

This is the third summer we will be using Poofy Sunscreen on my 6 year old and I sometimes use it as well.  We love it! I just put some in my fingers and rub it between my fingers to warm it up a bit.  It does keep a whiteish tint on the skin.  It works well and we haven't had any burns with it.  One tube also lasts a long time! I do buy a fresh tube every summer but we always have some leftover.

Works great, not too small!

We are on the water frequently in the summer. The sunscreen worked great!  The container looks so small but it actually lasted much longer than I thought it would!

This sunscreen is the best out there!  Works perfectly on my allergy sensitive skin and keeps me totally protected from the sun.  I work out in the garden for many hours in the sun and it's never failed me.  I highly recommend Poofy Organic products.

I love this sunscreen but one thing...

I love this sunscreen but it makes my face soooo pale. Maybe just because my skin tone (I'm asian). But I love this. So I usually apply foundation on it.

THE 'ONLY' Sunscreen

We had a heatwave over the long holiday weekend in the NE. I applied THE Sunscreen around my kids T-shirts (arms, neck) and face prior to them going outside to play. While outside, they began playing with water and removed their shirts. I asked them to dry off so that I could apply more sunscreen. In less that 1 hour in the sun drying, my kids burned everywhere that I had not originally placed THE Sunscreen on! I feel horrible, but I know this stuff works!

Amazing, just amazing!

This sunscreen is wonderful! I am incredibly light skinned, I never tan only burn. I spend hours at my children's outdoor events and this sunscreen saves my life..quite literally. I love how it feels on my skin, and it is also a great primer. Amazing, just amazing! Love, love, love!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the sunscreen by Poofy Organics and it is made from 100% organic ingredients. You can read the label and say "Oh, yeah. I know what that stuff is!" I am outside 6am-8pm every day and I only reapply once. It does not run into my eyes and sting when I sweat. I only need a tiny dab for my face and neck...what else can I say??  Whitney~

The Only Sunscreen

This sunscreen works amazingly well. It is very thick and a little bit goes a long way! Make sure to reapply every couple of hours though if you will be exposed for a long time. Rubs in fully and doesn't leave a sticky residue! Safe for the whole family!
